A biopsy is performed with local anesthesia, so the area is numb throughout. Most patients feel pressure rather than pain during the procedure itself. Afterward, the site may feel a little tender for a day or two. Dr. Erakat will give you simple aftercare instructions to keep you comfortable as it heals.
