Our experience with Dr. Erakat and the entire team at Prestige Oral Surgery was exceptional. My daughter had been experiencing excruciating pain, headaches, and numbness/tingling due to one of her wisdom teeth being very close to a facial nerve. After a CT scan, her regular dentist referred us to Dr. Erakat for further evaluation. Naturally, we were extremely anxious about the possibility of nerve damage and the complexity of the procedure. During our consultation, Dr. Erakat took the time to thoroughly explain the situation, discuss the risks, and answer all of our questions. What gave us tremendous confidence was his calm demeanor, extensive experience, and honesty. He shared that in over 25 years of practice, he had never encountered a serious nerve injury case and felt confident that my daughter could safely have all four wisdom teeth removed at the same time. The surgery was scheduled for Monday, June 8th, and as a mother, I was incredibly nervous. We were told the procedure could take 30–60 minutes, but it was completed much more quickly than expected. When Dr. Erakat came out to speak with us, his words were unforgettable: “It was much better than I expected. There is absolutely no risk to the nerve, and the surgery went very well.” The relief I felt in that moment was overwhelming. I actually broke down in tears and thanked him. I would also like to recognize Renisha, Christina, and Dina, who were incredibly kind, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. They carefully explained all post-operative instructions and provided a detailed booklet that made recovery much easier to manage. Although it took a few days for my daughter to recover, we have been amazed by how well she has healed. The pain resolved, the nerve concerns disappeared, and her recovery has exceeded our expectations. Dr. Erakat is not only highly skilled and experienced, but he also genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Erakat is truly remarkable. He is highly skilled, professional, and top-tier. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed four days ago, and it was a wonderful experience. The procedure took about 45 minutes, but it honestly felt like no time at all. It was easy and painless. From the consultation last month to the surgery itself, everything was handled with both professionalism and genuine care. They truly try to work with you. I was in the middle of a layoff after my consultation, and they were extremely accommodating. They helped postpone my surgery, offered me a discounted price, and honored the treatment estimate. The office manager, Emily, is amazing, along with Jazmin and the rest of the women at the front desk. Emily even provides her personal cell number for any questions. She is always there to help, and she responds quickly. I texted her and she got back to me right away and is so nice, sweet, and reassuring. Also, yesterday (Friday evening), on day 3 after my surgery, I left Dr. Erakat a message after hours. He responded immediately literally within a minute telling me exactly what to do and reassuring me that everything was normal and fine. He also said my surgery went perfectly and that everything was okay. I went to two other surgeons before finding this place, and Dr. Erakat was significantly better more experienced and truly elite. He is probably the best oral surgeon in NJ, and I say that confidently after my experience. I highly recommend anyone who needs oral surgery to schedule a consultation and see him. I went last week for a consultation and it was a great experience. The staff is very nice, professional, and friendly. The doctor is very knowledgeable, confident, and reassuring. I am scheduled to have my wisdom teeth extracted next month, and the estimated treatment rate is very good, affordable, and reassuring. The women at the front desk, especially Jazmin, are wonderful. She is kind, patient, and accommodating, and she is very easy to talk to. I called her multiple times and she was always polite and patient. I also emailed her and she was very helpful and nice.
